It’s been five years since he first saw the light of day so the BMW driven by now decided it was time to introduce a new roadster model F 800 R. The interesting thing comes with a new look, gets more horsepower and uses the latest technology.
The 2015 BMW F 800 R powered engine displacement of 798cc, water-cooled 4-stroke in-line two-cylinder engine, two overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, dry sump lubrication, which develops maximum power of 90 hp (66 kW) at 8,000 rpm (which is a 3 hp more than its predecessor) and a maximum torque of 63 lb-ft (86 Nm) at 5,800 rpm, paired with constant mesh 6-speed gearbox integrated into crankcase with multiple-disc clutch in oil bath, mechanically operated. What is new are the shorter first and second gears. It develops a maximum speed of over 200 kmh.
The new BMW F 800 R is now no longer one characteristic light clusters front of them, but is now replaced one light unit, and go with it and the new fairings of motorcycle, new seat, radiator shields, front mudguard, wheels have also been changed and new color options for next year’s bikes, which include: (White Light, Racing Blue metallic matte / Satin Black, Racing Blue metallic matte / Light White or Light White / Black silk gloss). Rear BMW has not changed too much but the tail of the roadster remained virtually intact.
Of course he did not stop there but roadster F 800 R gets spruced up brake system, which brings on front the radial calipers. ABS is standard equipment, and for the extra money on this motorcycle can be embedded and system stability of motorcycles, powered suspension and tire pressure sensors, heated handlebars, travel luggage, trip computer, etc.
